This Solas Chafing Dish Fuel has an adjustable wick which allows you to burn this fuel on a low, standard or high heat depending on the contents of your chafing dish.
As standard, the wick is set at standard heat which has a 6 hour burn time (approx) but you can expose more of the wick for a higher heat or expose less for a lower heat.
If burning on low heat you can expect one fuel cell to last approximately 8 hours, standard heat will give you about 6 hours and high heat approximately 3 hours.
By using this wick system, the Pro Heat chafing fuel is safer than traditional fuel as it will only ignite by using the wick. After lighting, simply station this chafing fuel cell under your chafer to heat and keep warm its contents at a buffet or during food service.
