The scratch resistant hard anodised finish is typically twice as hard as stainless steel and even builds up a patina coating over time, giving it an easy-release surface. The unique dark finish on Samuel Groves Mermaid Hard Anodised range is the byproduct of an electro-chemical process that hardens the outer layer of the aluminium to produce a more durable surface. It is typically twice as hard as Stainless Steel and its surface will never peel, flake or blister.
